Please have your physician complete the medical form, along with, the Camp Waiver Form and return it to us before the start of camp. 

If we do not have a form on file for you, we cannot allow you to attend camp. The State Health Department mandates this law.

BullDog Day Camp

Session 1 June 24-28, 2019
Session 2 August 5-9, 2019

Check-in will begin on Monday at 8:00 am in the lobby of the Payne Whitney Gymnasium.
Official start of camp will be at 8:30 am sharp on that first day.



Elite Camp Info

Session 1 MAY 31 - June 2, 2019
Session 2 August 2-4, 2019


Overnight Campers - 4:00 pm at Albertus Magnus College - Dominican Hall, see map below
Commuter Campers - 6:00 pm in the Lanman Center at Payne Whitney Gymnasium, see map below

  • Camp begins immediately following check-in.

  • A light dinner will be provided for campers at check-in.

  • Bus service is provided to and from dorms to practice facility.



  • all-you-can-eat breakfast lunch and dinner for overnight campers, lunch and dinner for commuting campers.

Spending Money:

  • Campers have the option of ordering pizza for a snack following the evening session. Orders will be taken at check-in on Friday and at lunch on Saturday.


Due to the severity of peanut allergies, please do not send peanut butter sandwiches or any foods with nuts in them for lunch or snack.

Located on the campus of Yale University, Payne Whitney Gymnasium and the Lanman Center. All campers must enter through Payne Whitney Gymnasium, which is located at the end of Grove Street on Tower Parkway in New Haven, CT. Overnight campers attending the Elite Camp will be housed in Dominican Hall at Albertus Magnus College. Check-in begins at 4 p.m. at Albertus Magnus College for overnight campers and at 6 p.m. at the Yale Lanman Center for commuters. The Elite Camp will conclude on Sunday, parents can pick up their campers at the Lanman Center at noon.

The James Jones Bulldog Basketball Camp rents Yale University’s facilities, but is neither sponsored nor controlled by Yale University.

After program acceptance, refunds made will be less a $50 administrative fee provided notification is received no later than 20 days prior to start of camp.

You have agreed to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Yale University from and against any claim which you, your parents or guardian, or any other person may have for any losses, damages, or injuries arising out of or in connection with your participation in the Bulldog Basketball Camp.
